Since induction into the Society is a very selective process, membership serves as a testament to academic performance and is therefore respected by school admission committees and employers alike. We encourage listing membership on college applications and resumes. Students also have the opportunity of starting a chapter of The National Honor & Merit Scholars Society at their school if one doesn’t already exist.
Shortly after induction into The National Honor & Merit Scholars Society, you will receive a personalized certificate on parchment paper that may be framed to display honorary membership.
